Consultation
Schedule a consultation five to six months before your special event. During the initial consultation we will discuss the design, colors, font styles, and all other important details in order to customize your invitation exactly as you want. Many of our consultation is done via e-mails so we can monitor all changes, correspondents, etc. and keep in our files. We would recommend that you do the same and keep all correspondents in with your files.

Verse
If you're having a difficult time deciding on a verse, visit www.verseit.com for valuable tools and a wide variety of verses for your invitations and announcements. You may email your verse/wording to us after placing your order. Be sure to include Customer Name in heading of email. There is no extra charge for using your own verse.
Proofs
We will send you proofs of your invitations and announcements in PDF format via e-mail. Once email proofing is finalized, we will then mail or e-mail a photo of the actual invitation for final approval. Once you approve your invitation proof, we will begin production. Please allow up to 5 weeks for production.
E-mailed proofs may vary depending on your monitor setting and due to the quality of scanning the image due to low resolution.
Motifs/Photos
You may choose to use our design or submit your own artwork. If submitting your own artwork, be sure to get permission from your artist to use their artwork on our products. There is a $50.00 set up fee for using your own artwork.
Sending Photograph
You may save your picture in a jpeg (jpg) file and email it to us, or saved on a CD and mail to Paperie Designs, 5161 Maple Drive, Pleasant Hill, IA 50327. Be sure your scanner is set at 600+ dpi when scanning your photo.
The digital photo size should be larger than the final printed size on your card to allow for placement and cropping, if necessary.
You may mail us your photograph and we will use our scanning equipment. We recommend using a photograph processed 35mm prints on glossy paper. We will not be able to use 110, Polaroid, still video shots or other instant camera photographs.
The overall quality of the image printed on our card will vary on the quality of the digital image you provide.
Rush Orders
If you need your invitations within one month, please contact us before ordering. $75.00 for all Rush Orders.
Shipping and Handling
- Please allow up to five weeks for production upon receipt of approval of final proof.
- Shipping charges apply to all orders.
- Orders are shipped U.S. Parcel, U.S. Priority, UPS Ground or FedEx Ground.
- Customer is responsible for Expedited shipping fees.
Billing Information
- Wedding Invitations: 50% non-refundable deposit due at time of order. Remaining balance and shipping/handling is due upon print production.
- Payment types accepted: PayPal, Check, and Money Order.
- All Iowa and Illinois residents must include 6% Sales Tax.
- No refunds, exchanges or returns will be given after final approval of your proof.
- All returned checks are charged a service charge of $30 each.
Cancellations
We do not accept alterations, returns, exchanges and refunds after we begin production. If you need to make changes, please do so while reviewing your proofs and before giving your final approval.

All artwork used on our product is licensed for Paperie Designs use only. Designs created by Paperie Designs may not be reproduced without the written permission of the company. Use of our images on your web site also requires written permission.
